Rocket Theatre Group was founded in 2016 with one clear mission: to give young people a place where creativity, confidence, and community could truly take flight.

 

What began as a small youth theatre project has grown into a vibrant, supportive theatre family — one that has helped hundreds of young performers discover their voices, develop their skills, and fall in love with the magic of live performance. As we head into 2026, we are incredibly proud to be celebrating 10 years of Rocket Theatre Group, and a decade of nurturing talent both on and off the stage.

 

At Rocket, we believe theatre is about so much more than learning lines and choreography. It’s about teamwork, self-belief, resilience, and having the confidence to be unapologetically yourself. Our sessions are designed to be inclusive, encouraging, and fun, while still offering high-quality training in acting, singing, and performance techniques.

 

We work with children and young people of all abilities — from those stepping on stage for the very first time, to performers looking to challenge themselves and grow. Every member is valued, supported, and celebrated, because we know that when young people feel safe and inspired, incredible things happen.

 

Over the past ten years, Rocket Theatre Group has produced ambitious shows, created unforgettable memories, and built a strong reputation for professionalism, creativity, and care. As we look to the future, our passion remains the same as it was in 2016: to continue providing exciting opportunities, meaningful experiences, and a place where young performers can truly shine.
